I have tested most of the sigils against Ifrit and, personally, recommend The Fierce because of its very high damage per second. Note: Players have different play styles so choose the sigil that suits your play style. I used that for the rematch against an amped up version of Ifrit on steroids. The Fierce charges up and gives a very powerful blast. Aerial Ace gives you increased damage with warp strikes and was the one I first used. The Tall gives increased strength and a strength boost spell. You can augment them with the sigil you choose. Once your stats are through the roof, warp in/warp out tactics are very effective. You will not have a chance to change once you select Insomnia. Before you leave for Insomnia, equip the sigil and equipment you want to use. Once you are geared up, you can take on Ifrit. To make this guide more concise, I removed weapon crafting pointers and put them in a separate thread.įighting Ifrit. It describes how to make the level 120/strength 600 weapons used in the above video. If you need some pointers in how to acquire and craft weapons that are effective against Ifrit, please refer to this thread: Weapon Crafting in Comrades-Case Study: Ifrit. You might prefer to remain in the air and defeat Ifrit with the conventional attacks.Įdited 17 March 2018: You need powerful weapons to fight Ifrit. The cons is that you have to be on the ground to execute it. There are pros and cons to using this special attack. Because of the fast pace and Ifrit's position, it doesn't show that clearly. Each of the hits delivers over 8,000 damage. It lands four hits as you can see at the 1:05 mark. At the 1:04 minute mark, the All Creation special move is used. Note the hit count during the warp strikes. Most of the damage is done by standard warp strikes converted by The Fierce Sigils into high DPS attacks. So, I have a short video that shows my setup and the fight itself. If you are interested continue to read:Įdited to add Ifrit three minute battle: I've had lots of questions about the Ifrit fight. The following describes how to get some of the most powerful weapons in Comrades that will not only make the Ifrit battle much more manageable but will help in all other missions as well. In the below video, four level 120/strength 600 weapons are used. However, if you are finding the Ifrit battle either challenging or tedious, you probably need much more powerful weapons. I am pretty certain that the story event making Ifrit available will not occur until the other 12 sigils are collected. If this is the 13th sigil, the achievement will unlock. Take the vehicle to Insomnia and defeat Ifrit to claim The Father as the reward. It's the last location in the list on the second page with the 'somewhere else' locations. Insomnia will now be available as a location that you can go using your vehicle. When you unlock virtually all the nodes on the map, including the ones that have to be cleared with a high level Chocobo, a main story event will occur. Ifrit is a new final boss of Comrades made available in the March 2018 update. All but one are collected by unlocking nodes on the map except for The Father, the reward for defeating Ifrit. Until the March 2018 update, not all sigils were available. A video guide at the end of this solution shows the location of the 13 nodes corresponding to all 13 sigils required for the achievement.Īs stated above, the achievement is unlocked when you acquire all 13 Royal Sigils that correspond to the Royal Weapons in the main game. You will be rewarded with the 13th sigil, The Father, and the achievement will unlock. That will make Insomnia available by your vehicle. Continue clearing nodes until you unlock the final story event in Descent into Darkness. How to Unlock: Clear the nodes on the map, including the ones where you have to use a high level Chocobo, collecting 12 sigils in the process.
